Living Herbal Wreath

Here is my wreath on the dining room table. I had the candle already, and the glass holder is actually a flower vase.
If anyone would like some tiny pine cones, my trees are filled with them right now. Help yourself!

Last weekend....

Last weekend, after being SO inspired by the Lake Farmpark quilt show, I made these items. First I made a baby quilt. Our neighbors on Kenmore Road, Bob and Fran, just had their first grandchild in December, so I made a baby quilt for Baby Cecelia. This quilt is so quick and easy - I think I finished it in 2 days. Then I made a cute set of coasters for Karen, from the Denyse Schmidt quilting book that my sister, Reenie, sent me.

Beaded Ornaments

Today, Lauren and I and John's niece, Sara, made these cute beaded ornaments from the latest Martha Stewart Living magazine. They were very easy, and they're even prettier than they look in the pictures!

Houses of Hope

In March, Kathy, Pam and Debbie took a class from Mary Huey called "Houses of Hope". I got the quilt top finished this week. It didn't take too long to finish - once you sat at the machine, and we learned some new and useful techniques.
